Candidate Forum

Come participate in a community conversation with incumbent  and challenger . Be part of the civic process in making an educated decision about your selected candidate. Spread the word to your network. 

In addition, the uncontested Mercer Island City Council race candidates Bruce Bassett, Jane Meyer-Brahm and Mike Cero as well as King Council Position 6 candidates  and  have also been invited to speak. They will each be given three minutes to express their policy priorities and goals. Following an audience question-and-answer period for candidates El Jahncke and Debbie Bertlin, the floor for questions will be opened up to all candidates before the event is adjourned.

Ernest "El" Jahncke and Debbie Bertlin are running for the opportunity to speak for you, but do you know where they stand on the issues important to you? We are soliciting questions from the general public for the two city council candidates. Your submitted questions can be included in the general question pool at the upcoming forum.
