Unfortunately I will be in Scottsdale, AZ on that date. I told them that I would be able to appear if they would reschedule the meeting to Feb 16th.

"....There will not be a public input opportunity at this meeting". Why Not??? Perhaps concern about of hearing the truth from and views of MI residents ???

There's a Feb. 4 City Council meeting and an agenda item has been scheduled to discuss something along the lines of how the council will respond to both the Environmental Assessment and I-90 Tolling generally. See the discussion at the end of the Jan. 22 meeting: http://mercerisland.patch.com/articles/green-power-party-downtown-zoning-on-mercer-island-city-council-live-blog

Wow. February 4th??? Nearly a week after the 29 January WSDOT MI Comment session meeting??? And they're just going to consider their position??? ...While they've known about this tolling train wreck disaster coming for months? What responsiveness !!! What terrific effective representation and leadership !!! And it's such a secret, as to typical Islander views on this tolling subject !!!
