Litzow, Maxwell Lead in Early 41st District General Election Returns
So far, only about 45 percent of registered voters' ballots have been counted in the 41st Legislative District, but both Steve Litzow and Marcie Maxwell have pulled out commanding leads in early tallies.
Republican State Sen. Steve Litzow has an early 7-point lead in early general election returns in the 41st Legislative District, at 53.47 percent of the votes counted so far, a 7-point lead over Democratic challenger who currently has 46.44 percent of the vote.
For the district's State Representative Position 1, incumbent Marcie Maxwell (D-Renton) easily leads her Republican challenger, Tim Eaves, of Issaquah, 58.16 percent to 41.78 percent.
Democrat Rep. Judy Clibborn was unopposed for re-election to Position 2.

So far, of 91,351 registered voters in the 41st Legislative District, King County has received and counted 41,457 votes, or about 45 percent. The 41st LD was redistricted earlier this year and now represents all of Mercer Island, Beaux Arts Village, South Bellevue, Newcastle, Kennydale, South Sammamish and North Issaquah.
The deadline to postmark or turn in ballots was today.
