Northbound I-405 will shut down completely this weekend through downtown Bellevue as crews connect the new freeway onramps.

Check out this video by WSDOT if you need help remembering the change.

Crews will connect new ramps between Interstate 405 and State Route 520 starting at 11 p.m. Sept. 23. The freeway is slated to reopen at 4 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26.

So, how does a Mercer Islander using I-90 and I-405 get to SR 520? Any changes for us? Currently, which lane, and when to move into the exit lane is very confusing. Hope it will be better.....
