Public Meeting on I-90 Tolls Scheduled for Monday, Oct. 21

Island Residents Encouraged to Attend The Upcoming Meeting at Mercer Island High School

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is holding a broader public scoping process for the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) regarding tolling on I-90. The comment period runs from October 7 to November 6, and the two remaining public meetings are:

Mercer Island: Monday, October 21, 4:30-8:30 pm at Mercer Island High School

Seattle: Wednesday, October 23, 4:00-7:00 pm at the African American Museum

Verbal, written and email comments will be accepted at the public meetings, and signups start at 10:00 am three business days prior to each meeting, or on a first-come, first-served basis at the start of each meeting. Click here for more information on speaking at a meeting.  

According to WSDOT, all comments submitted during the prior comment process are still part of the official record, but the public is welcome to restate comments if desired. For more information on the meetings, or other ways to submit comments, click here
