Hello everyone,
Last week in my blog I wondered what this past week would bring.Unfortunately along with the many preparations to celebrate a joyous holiday season came a senseless tragedy. A horrible act of violence by one man at a Connecticut elementary school that has changed the lives of many.
We,as a country,lost the lives of 20 children and 8 adults,their families lost their loved ones much too early in their lives. It has left many people in that community and across our country feeling a great loss and sadness and much confusion as to how something like this could take place.We all need to reach out and comfort each other.
Many heroic acts emerged during this violent act;those who put others ahead of their own safety. I feel we should honor their heroism by doing even the smallest acts of kindess toward each other everyday.
This holiday season as many of us are celebrating in our own way let us remember those who will be mourning the loss of a loved one.My hearfelt prayers go out to all the friends and families of those lost that day.
My only tip this week is simple;Reach out to those around you,put someone else’s need before your own;you will be a better and happier person for having done so.
