Romeo’s Tip of the Week: Try Making a Daily Plan

Posts by Romeo, the little black dog.

Hello again, everyone!

I want to share some thoughts I had the other day at the dog park. I was taking a brief rest from all my running and playing, when I started thinking about just how lucky I am to have such a wonderful place to run and play with all my pals. Fortunately for me, the dog park is located very close to our apartment. If my momma had to drive clear across town to get to the park we might not get to go very often. I wonder if that was one of the things momma thought of when choosing a place to live.

Another thing that came to mind is how she manages to find the time to take me there at all. She does so many wonderful things for me and knows what I value the most — like her attention, my pig ear treats and playing at the dog park. But she is, after all, very busy. How do you think she does it???? Maybe it’s because she makes a plan each day. Sometimes, something unexpected may happen and change things up a bit, but I think her great planning must be why I get to do so many fun things.

I wonder if everyone plans their day like she does. Do you think it’s hard to make a plan? If people at home benefit from a daily plan just think of the planning it must take to start a business! Hey, I bet the team at Little Black Dog Social Media & More know alot about that subject. Well,I’m just glad that my momma is a great planner because I sure enjoy all the benefits that come from it.

My tip of the week: Try making a daily plan (to start). You’ll feel more organized and less stressed, and you will be more likely to fit a little “fun-time” into your day. Most likely you will feel much happier at the end of each day!

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

I'll be a bit more direct than Jerry. The new site is a mess. Visually it's extremely cluttered.Read More It's slow, very slow. There appear to be no RSS feeds, a major negative. Following a few links sometimes sends you to a different community's Patch site. And what happened with the editing staff. Unless I missed something, suddenly there are new editors without any warning. No matter what the circumstances, normally such a move would be accompanied by an announcement of some sort. Venice may be the greatest editor ever, but it looks like she is splitting her time among several Patch sites, so the odds are stacked against her. Her "latest activities" list even suggests that she is editing a Patch site down in the San Francisco Bay area. With all due respect, Patch sites should be hyper-local, and the best route to that is a local (i.e. Mercer Islander) editor.
