10th Annual 'CHILD at Heart Breakfast' on Feb. 7

Mercer Island-based Children's Institute for Learning Differences (CHILD) is hold it's largest fundraiser of the year at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.

Children’s Institute for Learning Differences (CHILD), one of the longest-running therapeutic day schools in the state and based on Mercer Island, is preparing to hold their largest fundraiser of the year on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for their 10th Annual CHILD at Heart Breakfast.Β 

The fundraiser, held at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, is the largest source of donations for CHILD, a non-profit school and therapy services clinic for fragile children who struggle daily with developmental, neurological and social-emotional challenges. CHILD students come from 19 districts throughout Puget Sound.

CHILD Founder, current Director of Community Relations and long-time resident Trina Westerlund will give the opening remarks. This lively, dynamic community celebration of CHILD students and their amazing courage will prove to be inspirational and informative.
