2010 Puget Sound Investors Education Conference

The Puget Sound Investors Education Conference is BetterInvesting's largest chapter event. At this two-day event, a variety of classes as well as presentations by representatives of well-known national and international companies are presented. Come and meet nationally-known investment instructors.  Registration includes a box lunch on both days.

Whatever your financial goals and skills, we'll provide you with the opportunity to choose an educational roadmap that's right for you.   The hard part will be picking the topic tracks you want to attend. In the available time you'll be limited to 12 out of 60 presentations in the following areas:

·          Personal Finance Series
·          Stock Series
·          Bond Series
·          Mutual Fund/ETF Series
·          Options Series

Friday Night Special

From 4-5pm, we'll host a Club Meet & Greet.    This is a social casual 'mixer" where clubs can meet other clubs or individuals looking to join a club can meet some clubs.  Clubs are encouraged to bring appetizers to help draw potential members to their table. From 5-7pm, will be Iec@ Nite .  While we don't have a Computer Lab this year, volunteers will have their laptops and can asnwer questions.  Want to walk through doing an SSG with a volunteer?   Need help with an SSG tool?  This is your time to get some individual help. You are welcome to bring your laptop too.

In order for attendees to receive the special room rate of $84 + tax for a single or double standard room ($93 for 2 doubles in the room), reservations must be made prior to October 15th .     Parking is $10/day. If calling in for a reservation, be sure to ask for the BetterInvesting Group Discount.

Registration Policies:

Advance registration is strongly recommended!  We have moved to a slightly smaller facility and total attendance will be capped at 200. (Last year we had 240 registrations.) Registration on-site is on a space-available basis and lunch may not be available. Reservations will be confirmed by email All attendees will automatically be entered in the door prize drawings. You must be present to receive prizes. One day or partial registrations are not available
One registration may be shared, with a different person attending each day. You may send a substitute if the person originally registered is unable to attend at the last minute.
Refund requests received after October 31, 2010 cannot be honored. If we need additional information you will be contacted via email or phone – Please Respond PROMPTLY!
