Schools Bond Measure - Informational Meetings

CANCELLED The School Board recently voted to place a $196 million school bond measure on the April 17, 2012 ballot.  Community leaders, the PTAs, and more than 800 Islanders have endorsed the measure.  This bond will fund the rebuilding of our three elementary schools and the middle school and significant improvements to the high school, among other things.

This bond is the result of four years of consideration, debate and study, so there is a lot to learn to make an informed decision.
