Training for Reading Buddies is the mandatory orientation for teens volunteering to read with children this summer. Topics covered include scheduling, responsibilities for participation in the program, child literacy information and working with young readers.
Teen volunteers need to have submitted a completed application to the library in order to participate in the training. Applications will be available in the Mercer Island Library starting May 15. Call the library with questions.
