Our District has more than 700 students in portables, our elementary and middle school populations have overcrowded commons areas and enrollments are projected to further increase.

Why Meet?
Recognizing that a successful school bond eventually requires a separate and independent entity for campaign and promotion, we are reaching out to people who may be interested in:
Sharing their thoughts regarding the MISD’s bond planning process.
Expressing concerns they may have regarding the bond and identify actions in which MISD could address any of these.
Contributing their ideas on the best way to form a campaign and/or identifying additional supporters.
Who are we?
We are Islanders who are interested in finding the best way to move forward as one community to support a bond measure that addresses school overcrowding and keeps our schools successful.
Thank you for this consideration.
Paul Bergman, Ralph Jorgenson and Rob Spalding
