Local Tutoring Business Offers College Admission and Study Skills Workshops

Mercer Island tutoring business College Tutors and Custom College Connection offer two seminars on how to get into college.

Mercer Island tutoring business is offering a series of workshops to both college-bound high school students in its summer college admissions series, and high school and middle school students seeking a leg up in the classroom. 

For college-bound students, the College Tutors offers two 90-minute workshops intended to both help with college "tricks-of-the-trade" and college selection.

“College admissions interviews carry significant weight and students must be able to thoughtfully answer questions, describe their experiences and highlight their strengths,” says .  “Students who prepare for interviews will feel less anxious and intimidated by the entire process. And of course, targeting the best-fit schools is key as well.” adds Krause.

Also on offer is a Back to School Study Skills Workshop is the perfect solution if your child struggles with test taking strategies, organization, note taking or time management.  The workshop session will focus on effective study habits, note taking skills, time management, active listening, critical thinking and study systems.  Your student will return to school with the tools necessary to start off the school year on the right foot.

Cost:  $75 per student plus one free Test Prep tutoring session with registration

Workshop 4 Middle School Students: Wednesday, August 15th 12:30-3:00pm
