MIHS Grapplers Earn Top-10 3A Ranking
The Mercer Island High School Wrestling Team prepares for Wednesday's tri-meet at O'Dea High School in Seattle ranked #7 in the state.
Islander wrestling fans are pleased to see the squad ranked 7th in Class 3A State Rankings after a number of strong performances so far this year.
's Blake Johnson took first place at the Hammerhead Invitational at the Kitsap Sun Pavilion on Dec. 16-17. Team is 7-1 overall, losing to Everett High in a nailbiter a few weeks ago in the final seconds of the meet.
Next up tri-meet at O'Dea HS on Wednesday.
