"I am extremely sad to see John Harrison leave MIHS," She said. "John is a man who is meant to work with students β€” he brought a special feeling of unity among the student body at the high school. Students I thought would never respect an authority figure, respected Mr. Harrison for his kindness, fabulous sense of humor, honesty, and his genuine passion and sincere interest in getting to know each and every one of his students. Mr. Harrison made an extraordinary impact on all of his students over the past 6 years at Mercer Island and we will never forget him."
