Public Forum For Building New Schools Tonight
The 21st Century Facilities Planning Committee Public Forum will hold a public meeting concerning the possible construction of one or more schools to replace aging school buildings on Mercer Island.
the 21st Century Facilities Planning Committee for Mercer Island School District Facilities Planning Public Forum tonight (Sept. 6) at 7-9 p.m., in the Library.
The 21st Century Facilities Planning Committee (21CFPC) is a citizen’s committee created by the School Board to help address the facilities challenges facing the district. The group has been working together for a year, investigating scenarios for housing students and programs to best meet the long-range facility needs of the district. The general public is invited to hear what the committee has learned and the options they are considering putting before the school board this fall.
