Straight Sets for Isladers Girls Tennis Against Liberty, 7-0

The MIHS Girls Varsity Tennis team ends the regular season with two more contests against Kamiak and Bellevue this week.

The MIHS Girls Varsity Tennis team ran the table again another conference opponent, winning every singles and doubles match on home court to defeat Liberty High School 7-0.

Girls Tennis next faces Kamiak High School in an out-of-conference matchup on Thursday and its regular season finale against Bellevue on Friday. Both matches are at 3:45 p.m. at Mercer Island High School.

Mercer Island 7, Liberty 0

Singles:

1.  Nora Tan (MI) beat Jenny Adams (L)  6-0, 6-0

2.  Sophia Gage (MI) beat Kristy Brunsten (L) 6-2, 6-0

3.  Melanie Lee (MI) beat Hannah Ho (L) 6-0, 6-0

4.  Carissa Ham (MI) beat Hayley Elkin (L) 6-0, 6-0

Doubles:

1.  Gabby Venditti/Lydia Venditt (Mi) beat Noelle Rauschendorfer/Stuti Sulgaonkar (L) 6-0, 6-0

2.  Caroline Dillon/Ashley Larson (MI) beat Sadie Demme/Annie Trumball (L) 6-1, 6-1

3.  Julia Glick/Erin Crandall (MI) beat Kim Lee/Yen Lee (L) 6-2, 6-4
