The 40th Annual Mercer Island Half Marathon, organized by the Foundation, is one of the community's signature events and brings thousands of visitors to Mercer Island every spring.
A schedule of the event is as follows:
- 6:30 am Day-of-event registration begins
- 7:30 am Half Marathon Walk, presented by Swedish Cancer Institute
- 8:00 am Half Mile Kids’ Dash, presented by Overlake Hospital Medical Center
- 8:30 am 10k Run 9:00 am Half Marathon Run, presented by Swedish Cancer Institute
- 9:30 am 5k Run & Walk, an official Get Your Rear in Gear event
