Celebrity Basketball Fundraiser to Support MIHS Marching Band
Join us for an evening of exciting and humorous basketball. A team of Harlem Globetrotter All TimeRoster players are coming to town to challenge our very own MIHS Band Director, Parker Bixby, andhis fearless team of educators, community leaders, and possibly a local celebrity or two to a friendlyand funny game of basketball.
Honored once again to represent our community and the greater Puget Sound region as a modelmusic education program, the Mercer Island High School Marching Band has been invited to march inthe 2012 Tournament of Roses Parade on January 2, 2012 in Pasadena, California.

The Celebrity Basketball Fundraiser featuring Harlem Globetrotter alumni is quickly becoming a muchanticipated event amongst students and is the first of several fundraising opportunities being offeredto help band members raise funds toward the cost of their trip.
