Seattle Adaptive Sports Wheelchair Basketball Game and Silent Auction

Students from Mercer Island, Sammamish High School, and Newport High School have partnered with Seattle Adaptive Sports to hold a wheelchair basketball game between teams consisting of students, staff, and local celebrities from the high schools to play against the Junior Sonics basketball team. Notable participants include Jeff Lindquist, future quarterback of the University of Washington Huskies. The event will take place at MIHS on Wednesday, April 18, the doors will open at 6 p.m and the game starts at 7 pm.

There will be a silent auction before and during the game as well as a raffle to fundraise for college scholarships for wheelchair basketball players. Some auction items include: A signed football by Golden Tate, weekend cabins, Seattle Storm items and tickets, gourmet food baskets, wonderful restaurant certificates along with movie tickets and much more. The proceeds will go to Seattle Adaptive Sports player scholarships. Please come and enjoy the game, concessions and raffle.
