MI Girls Lacrosse Seeks Fall Ball Players Age 6 & Up

The Mercer Island Girls Lacrosse program is seeking girls, ages 6-13, interested in "the fastest-growing sport in North America" for its Elementary and Middle School Girls Lacrosse Fall Ball league.

Want to keep that stick in hand and hone your skills during the off season? New to lacrosse and want to give it a try before Spring? 

Middle and elementary school girls are invited to join the 's "Fall Ball" league, starting this weekend. All players are divided based on their experience and grade level.

Students in grades 5-8 are invited to Fall Ball starting this Friday, Sept. 14 at for some "Friday Night Fun". MIHS Girls Varsity Coach Liz Shields and other middle school coaches will help players improve skills and "take your game to the next level," while new players will learn the basics and be ready for Spring. The Fall Ball league meets every Friday from Sept. 14th - Oct. 26, 4:30-6 p.m. at IMS Sunken Field. The cost is $100 ($75 for new players). Younger students in grades 1-4 are invited to join in for the club's 2nd Annual Elementary Girls Lacrosse Fall Ball. Play begins this Sunday, Sept. 16 and runs every Sunday through Oct. 28, 3-4 p.m. at . The cost $75 ($50 for new players).
