Patch Preps Regional Wrap-Up: KingCo 3A/2A Boys Basketball
This is the first in a series of posts that will provide scores and highlights for 14 different high school leagues across Western Washington. Each week will feature a game of the week and a player of the week and we at Patch welcome any reader suggestion
Weather impacted the KingCo 3A/2A conference this week, reducing it to a handful of Friday games. No surprises in the final scores, as the top four teams in the league all won handily.
Game of the Week:
– Mercer Island got a boost in the race for the KingCo 3A crown when Lake Washington upset Bellevue last week and was looking to avoid a similar upset at the hands of the Wildcats. The Islanders used a strong defensive effort to outlast Mount Si and retained a share of first place in the conference.
