Weekend Baseball Photo Gallery: Mercer Island vs Mt. Si

The Islanders had a rough weekend, losing to Lake Washington and Mt. Si. They are 4-3 overall and 1-2 in KingCo 3A/2A.

The rain stayed away this time, but the end result probably had Islander fans wishing it hadn't

The Mt. Si Wildcats came out roaring after falling behind early in the rained-out April 6 contest and convincingly defeated Mercer Island 11-1 in six innings.

According to a KingCo 3A/2A wrap-up of the game, Mercer Island appeared drained after their 11-inning loss to Lake Washington. Mount Si pounded out 11 hits, with Max Brown, Trevor Lane and Nate Sinner each collecting multi-hit games. Junior right hander Reece Karalus gave up just two hits and struck out 11 in the complete game victory.
