The Washington Post reports growing privacy concerns over a Gates funded student database. My take? While I'm not particularly worried about The Gates Foundation's having ill intent, if there's one thing we've learned about databases it's that they can be compromised. Do you want your child's academic, health, and other assessment information out there for hackers to see and share?
