ARCH Seeks Volunteer to Join Citizen Advisory Board

A Regional Coalition for Housing (ARCH) seeks a Mercer Island resident to help evaluate local housing funding proposals and increase awareness of housing issues on the Eastside.

Make your voice heard on affordable housing programs and funding by joining the Citizen Advisory Board (CAB) of A Regional Coalition for Housing (ARCH).

The Board consists of twelve to fifteen community residents and housing professionals that work with ARCH staff to evaluate local housing funding proposals and increase awareness of housing issues on the Eastside, including Mercer Island.

Board members contribute their understanding of housing and community issues, as well as certain specialized perspectives including: real estate, housing development, planning, finance, low income or special needs, faith communities, racial diversity, architecture, and affordable housing. The Board also strives to be representative of the Eastside communities that comprise the coalition, and meets for two hours one Wednesday evening per month. More information about ARCH and the Citizen Advisory Board is available at www.archhousing.org.
