Habitat for Humanity Seeks Applicants for New and Previously-Owned Homes

The nonprofit will hold four information meetings early next month to share information about Habitat for Humanity's homeownership criteria.

is looking for qualified families to move into four new and previously-owned homes on the Eastside.

The homes are located in Renton, Redmond and Snoqualmie. One unit is ADA-accessible. 

The organization will hold four information meetings in early December to provide more information about the homes and discuss homeownership criteria. Here is a schedule:

  • Dec. 1: 6 to 7 p.m., Snoqualmie Library, 7824 Center Blvd. SE, Snoqualmie
  • Dec. 3: noon to 1 p.m., Renton Highlands Library. 2902 NE 12th St., Renton
  • Dec. 5: 7 to 8 p.m., Renton Library, 100 Mill Ave. S, Renton
  • Dec. 6: 6 to 7 p.m., , 16315 NE 87th St., Suite B5, Redmond

Habitat for Humanity of East King County has built, rehabbed or repaired 111 homes since 1998 in an effort to provide low-income Eastside residents with the chance to purchase homes. Families who move into Habitat for Humanity's homes put in 500 hours of labor as a down payment on the purchase.
