Mayor's Day of Concern for the Hungry, Sept 28

All are welcome to help staff a table at Albertsons supermarket and transport items to the MIYFS food pantry to help ensure that basic needs are met in our community.

Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS) is seeking volunteers to greet shoppers at Albertsons Supermarket during the Mayor's Day of Concern for the Hungry on Saturday, September 28.

Help is needed for the afternoon shift, and also with transportation of donated items.  This is a great opportunity for families, church groups, or coworkers to participate in a day of service; all are welcome to help ensure that basic needs are met in our community.  For more information, contact Evonne Noble or call (206) 275-7811.

The Mercer Island Food Pantry is a program of Mercer Island Youth and Family Services and serves approximately 150 Mercer Island families each year.
