The (YFS) Advisory Board announces that it will host a Pie/Dessert Baking Contest at the on Sunday, July 8.
Pies or desserts must be homemade and include seasonal fruits as at least one ingredient. Entries will be judged for flavor, texture, originality, and presentation. Participants can enter as many desserts as they like. Contest rules and entry forms will be posted on the City's website beginning Friday, June 22.
The YFS Advisory Board is an advisory board to the Mercer Island City Council on matters having to do with policy, programs, budget, public relations, and fundraising for the City's Department of Youth and Family Services.
