MI Half-Marathon Top Finishers

Blessed with temperatures in the high-50s and sunshine, organizers say the Mercer Island Half Marathon came off without a hitch as over 4,500 particpants raced around Mercer Island.

The race, which started in and ended near the , help raise money and awareness of colon cancer, and is organized by the .

According to Rogue Multi-Sport, the official timekeepers of the race, 40-year-old Seattle resident Uli Steidl was the fastest time overall in the premier half-marathon race, finishing with a time of 1:08:25. The fastest woman in that race was fellow Seattleite Sayaka Yoshinaga, 28, with a time of 1:23:03.
