Thrift Shop Announces Summer Hours, New Gift Cards

Responding to customer demand, the Mercer Island Thrift Shop announced it will stay open an extra hour, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., during May and through the rest of the summer.

The announced new extended summer hours in response to customer demand, according to a press release.

Starting May 5 and running through the summer, the store will stay open for retail until 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday. According to Thrift Shop Coordinator, Suzanne Philen, a recent analysis found that MITS shoppers were still active up to the old closing time of 7 p.m.

In addition to the longer hours, the shop is also offering gift cards for purchase. They are reloadable, sturdy — and according to the shop — make great gifts. They are available for purchase at store's cash registers.
