El Sombrero Mexican

Carrying on a family tradition since 1972, the Rodriguez family creates authentic Mexican food at El Sombrero in the South Mercer Shopping Center. This restaurant opened in 2006 and continues to create many delicious Mexican recipes handed down by their parents.  The usual combination plates of tacos, burritos and enchiladas, as well as their specialties of fish tacos and lamb shanks, fill the menu. El Sombrero is 100 percent peanut-free, and gluten-free plates are available upon request.  Take-out Fiesta Platters are offered and serve up to 10 people. A comfortable festive private room is located in the back of the restaurant and works well for private parties and meetings.
