Fire Department Station 92

<p>The Mercer Island Fire Department Station 92 responds to fires and medical emergencies throughout the community, primarily on the South End. The "South Station" is home to a staff of three firefighters equipped with one fire engine, one midi fire truck and one aid car. The firefighters are on duty seven days a week, 24 hours a day.</p> <p>The station is also outfitted with an emergency power generator to maintain services during power outages, which occasionally affect the Island.</p>
