Free anti-bullying classes, food drives and fundraising for local shelters, homework challenges and rewards in September, teaching special needs kids and adults with specialized classes, encouraging families to take martial arts classes together...just a few extra ways that MIMA gives back to our community. We are proud to support and attend a small, owner-operated school which raises the bar for community involvement and improvement. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Mercer Island Martial Arts is not just martial arts, it is a whole system. I am absolutely pleased with what my son learns there. Responsibility, honesty, respect, dedication. Masters Strongheart and Wells are helping build strong members of our community.

Mercer Island Martial Arts is a very good place to learn about life. Master Strongheart & Master Wells and the rest of the group are very encouraging and sustaining to the kids. They learn about the how to protect oneself, about the fact that bullying have no place in our life, about helping others and community development. Our family is very happy to be involve in their program.
