Representative Dave Reichert has been Mercer Island's voice in the United States House of Representatives since 2005. A member of the Republican Party, Reichert is a former King County Sheriff and veteran of the Air Force Reserves. He is now serving his fourth two-year term, and currently serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, the President's Export Council, the National Security Solutions Group and the Children's Health Caucus, which he founded and co-chairs.
Rep. Reichert is available by appointment to meet with constituents at the district office or in the district when the U.S. House is not in session. He and his staff aid residents with a variety of needs or concerns, including assistance with federal agencies and programs.
