Steve swam at Edgebrook, probably from the time he was six until he graduated from Newport. ItRead More didn't matter if the sport was swimming, water polo, volleyball, soccer, or tiddlywinks - he was a fierce competitor. He was a great teammate and I'm glad he influenced so many in a positive way.

Steve was an incredible soul. As the Varsity Boys soccer manager for the 2010 and 2011 seasons, IRead More spent a lot of time on the sidelines with him talking tactics and life in general. He was so wise and cared so much about each one of his players on and off of the field. I will miss him and I know that he has touched so many people's lives in an incredibly positive way.

No one could match his kindness. He touched my heart so many times, you wouldn't believe it. I usedRead More to ask him, "What are we doing in P.E. next?" He ALWAYS said, "Ask me tomorrow." or whenever the next P.E. class was. :'( He was always my favorite teacher and no one could replace him. ~Stella Sisson

I am shocked and so very sad to hear of Jesse's passing. He was my first modern dance teacher andRead More along with Gail Heilbron introduced me to a new world of movement. I had lost touch with him but remember fondly the many hours in the dance studio, his remarkable teaching and the gift of movement he helped to unlock for me and I know for so many others. I know he must have been amazing with kids and I am so sorry they have lost this amazing teacher and person in their lives. Warm thoughts and condolences to all who knew Jesse.
