Mercer Island Historical Society
PO Box 111, Mercer Island, WA 98040

Ever heard the story how Mercer Island is haunted by evil spirits? Or how Islanders got around before the I-90More Floating Bridge was built? The Mercer Island Historical Society has the records, photos and letters to tell you.

The society is also responsible for over a dozen commemorative plaques on the island at sites of historical significance, such as where four 90mm anti-aircraft guns were stationed on Mercer Island during World War II.

The society meets monthly during the spring and fall (March - May, Sept - Nov) at the Mercer Island Community and Events Center.
