Diane Taylor is best known as a Mercer Island mom, attorney and community volunteer. Although she has spent recent years writing mostly legal briefs and pieces related to her work in employment law, Diane is starting to write about what she loves most: the community that became home to her family in 1998. Diane majored in English Literature at The College of William and Mary, where she wrote news stories for the "Flat Hat." She also worked as Arts Editor for her law school newspaper at Lewis and Clark Law School. Diane lives on Mercer Island with her husband Michael, teen-aged kids Sarah and Zach, and their pony-sized flat coat retriever, Spencer.
