Helen Gibson, Neighbor

Gibson honed her people pleasing skills from prior careers in the travel industry. After a brief stint as a stay at home mom, Helen became co-owner of X<i>etera Inc</i>, a media service to PR firms and the publishing industry.  In 2007, she decided to put her insider’s knowledge of the book world to work by creating Helen’s Reads, a blog and website dedicated to helping readers find that next good book to read.  Hobbies include playing golf and bridge with girlfriends; reading good books and cooking for family and friends. She and her husband Dan have lived on the island since 1983. They have two grown children and a wire hair terrier named Pretzel, who is famous in their neighborhood.
