National Trails Day at Pioneer Park

Celebrate the trails of Pioneer Park while hunting for hints and clues! Pick up your letterbox clue book, make a stamp and start hunting on June 1. Pioneer Park has 6.6 miles of trails for hiking, running and walking.

Letterboxing is a fun way to explore the outdoors on Mercer Island! Letterboxes are hidden in Pioneer Park, and it’s your job to find them. Follow the clues through the forest, and make a print of the hidden stamps in your Clue Book.
Letterboxing is FUN and challenging! Following these steps to get started:

1. Join us at Trails Day on June 1 across from the South end Starbucks in Pioneer Park
2. Pick up a Clue Book beginning June 3 from the following locations: the Community & Event Center, Luther Burbank Park Office, the Boys and Girls Club, South end Starbucks.
3. Buy or carve your own stamp.
4. Come outside and play!
When your Clue Book is complete you can turn it in to the Community Center, the Boys and Girls Club or the office at Luther Burbank Park.
Turn it in by September 30 to be recognized at a get together (location, date and time to be announced).
The cost is FREE!!!
